the heart's trying to speak
i bet most of you beg to differ, YES I DO LISTEN LORRRRRRRRRRRRR YOU CHICKEN MCNUGGET. well maybe there's where you might be slightly mistaken.
most of you thinkkk you listen. but no....
you hear, you dont listen.
you hear the words, but you dont listen to the feelings.
the feelings underlying the message.
whether its from a child to a father, a student to a teacher, a friend to another.
especially for teenagers, an awkward phase in a person's life, we're no longer as young and innocent like kids, but nor are we matured adults yet. we're in between, in transition.
we find ourselves being misunderstood, ignored, neglected. all because no one really listens.
when you think about it, listening is truly the key to lotsa issues.
war, misunderstandings, arguments.
sometimes, we just have to learn to listen, listen from deep within the heart. for thats when you'll be able to see the true self of a person and bring the relationships around you to a greater height.
listen - such a simple word, but a great depth of meaning behind it. most often than not, taken for grated.
